Travis Barker stuns girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian by confirming romance – Music News

Rocker Travis Barker appears to have shocked girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian by going public with the couple’s romance while hyping his old 1990s band online.

The Blink-182 drummer posted video of his group Feeble on social media over the weekend and marvelled at the fact that one of the guys featured had gone on to do great things.

“OMG! There’s nothing feeble about that!” he wrote. “That music… those clothes… the video quality… it all SCREAMS (pun intended!) mid-to late-90s, doesn’t it?! Also, who would’ve ever thought that one of the guys on that stage, at that moment in time, would one day date a Kardashian?? The world in 2021 is a crazy place! All your dreams are possible, y’all!”

But it appears Kardashian wasn’t expecting her new man to confirm reports they were dating.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star responded with a simple, “wow”.

Reports suggest mum-of-three Kourtney, who shares her children with ex Scott Disick, and twice married Travis, a father of two, hooked up at the end of last year. They are neighbours in Calabasas, California.

The Weeknd opts to perform completely live at Super Bowl – Music News

The Weeknd will be all live when he performs during the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday.

Jesse Collins, the co-producer of the show, told Entertainment Tonight the headliner has opted not to pre-record any parts of his stadium show in Tampa, Florida, despite COVID safety fears.

“It’s all happening in that stadium, in that moment,” Collins said.

“We’re not bouncing off to another stadium and then cutting in, like some people have had to do (before). We are fortunate enough in this situation that we are able to do a live, live show,” he went on.

“It’s gotta be about entertainment from a truthful perspective. Get away from the massive sets, all the hoopla, the flying this and that. And get to the core of what makes an artist special,” he added.

Jesse also insisted The Weeknd’s set at Raymond James Stadium will wow viewers: “I think there’s a lot of stuff happening in the show that people aren’t going to expect. It’s just going to be fun. It’s so perfect.”

He shared: “We started creating this thing back in September, and the message of it really worked out. The world worked out for the message that The Weeknd wants to communicate in this performance… It’s definitely a very special show.”

The Super Duper Love hitmaker and her boyfriend, Cody DaLuz, welcomed baby daughter Violet Melissa on Friday via caesarean section.

The couple shared the baby news during a surprise edition of their Cooking With Joss series on Facebook Live on Sunday evening, calling little Violet “the prettiest thing in the world”.

Joss previously confessed to being “scared” about the delivery, revealing: “I woke up in the middle of the night – randomly – and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I am really scared!’ I just got really terrified of having to push it out!”

Last month, she told People magazine: “I remember I woke up one night, and I sat on the edge of the bed, and I said to Cody, ‘Oh no’, and I burst into tears. I said, ‘I’ve got to get it out. At some point it has to come out. Now it’s in. My God, Jesus. What if I split in half?’ You don’t read about that’.”

“Taking on the iconic Red Table has been an immense privilege and enlightening journey for myself, Emily, and Lili.”

“We look forward to continued exploration, growth, and healing in our upcoming episodes – and with my red gavel, much more than the ‘rhythm’ is gonna get you!” she quips, referencing her 1987 chart smash, Rhythm Is Gonna Get You.

Red Table creator and executive producer Jada adds, “It’s been an honour to work with Gloria and her family on a project that means so much to all of us.

“By inviting us into their lives, with such honest and vulnerable conversations, the Estefans have touched the hearts of people everywhere, shining the light on topics that aren’t traditionally discussed in the Hispanic community.”

Red Table Talk: The Estefans featured no-holds-barred conversations about a variety of topics, including sexuality, justice, grief, and mental health.

The Country-focused STAGECOACH FESTIVAL, scheduled for the last two weekends in APRIL, was also canceled.

New dates for the festivals have not yet been announced.

The postponement marked the third time the massive two-weekend COACHELLA festival has had to change dates due to concerns over CORONAVIRUS. Then, in JUNE, those dates were canceled as well.

Last year was the first since 2000 that COACHELLA did not take place. The festival previously took a gap year break between its 1999 debut and its 2001 return.

David Foster recalls being fired from Ringo Starr album – Music News

Hitmaking producer David Foster was once fired from working on a Ringo Starr album.

The veteran musician recalled the career flub as he chatted to music mogul Clive Davis online during the first of two pre-Grammy Award fundraising events.

Foster joined the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart, Alicia Keys, John Legend, and Dionne Warwick for the all-star celebration, which Davis used to highlight what he considered to be the top live performances from over the years.

After playing a clip of The Beatles in concert, Davis welcomed Foster to the party as the multi-Grammy winner recalled his experiences of working with Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo on their solo projects decades ago.

However, he admitted his stint with Ringo didn’t last long, as he was promptly dismissed by producer Richard Perry.

“Richard fired me from the album. He didn’t like the way I played,” Foster shared. “It was a great ‘a-ha’ moment where you take it in and say, ‘I can do better’ or you fold and go home.”

His collaboration with McCartney in the 1980s didn’t work out too well, either, but they’ve since become friends.

“I thought we were going to do The Long and Winding Road, Part 2 and he had no intention of doing that,” he remembered.

“The great artists want to go forward, so we didn’t do too well in the studio… I’ve seen him since and he remembers it fondly.”
