Warren Zevon (January 24, 1947 – September 7, 2003) was a veteran rock singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Chicago with a flair for comedy and satire who became famous beginning in the late 1970s. His best known songs include the humorous “Werewolves Of London” (1978), a Top 40 hit.
