John Paul Young (b. June 21, 1950) is a veteran Scottish-born Australian pop singer who became famous during the late 1970s. He is best known worldwide for “Love Is In The Air” (1978), a Top 10 Pop/Rock hit which topped the Adult Contemporary chart. He was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame in 2009.
