Karen Young (March 23, 1951 – January 26, 1991) was a disco singer from Philadelphia, PA who became famous during the late 1970s. She is best known for the 1978 Top 40 R&B hit, “Hot Shot,” which was featured in the soundtracks to “Reversal Of Fortune” (1990) and “The Times Of Bill Cunningham” (2020).
