ABOUT
Victor Young (August 8, 1899 – November 10, 1956) was a conductor, film music composer, concert violinist, and songwriter who became famous beginning in the early 1930s. His long string of hits includes the chart-topping “She’s A Latin From Manhattan” (1935). He won an Academy Award for his soundtrack to “Around The World In 80 Days” (1957).
